The Municipal Court is located at 643 Washington Street in Cape May City on the lower level of City Hall. Hours of operation are 8:00AM – 4:00PM, Monday through Friday, except for holidays. Court is in session every Tuesday at 9:00 AM.
The office is staffed by nine (9) personnel which are, by title, as follows:

The judicial staff of the Cape May City Municipal Court is employed by the
City of Cape May. The rules which govern the Court are handed down by the State
of New Jersey Supreme Court. The Municipal Court is directly supervised by the
Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC).
The purpose of the Court personnel is to assist the Judge in the adjudication of cases that are brought before the Court. This consists of and is limited to the scheduling of Court appearances, mediation hearings, the taking of fines, penalties and assessments and the disbursement of collected monies to the appropriate agencies.
