The Convention Hall hosts numerous events and activities throughout the year.  Ranging from musical concerts, wedding and banquet receptions, seminars and conferences, trade shows, craft shows, and recreational activities such as roller skating.   For upcoming activities please see the Calendar of Events.

The Convention Hall is a 20,000 square foot building with an 8,800 square foot main hall that accommodates over 900 people for lectures, 800 for performing arts events, 600 for banquets and receptions, and 450 for technology and training seminars.  Please call or e-mail to arrange a personal tour of the facility.

The Convention Hall is centrally located on the City’s beachfront and offers panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean.  It is within short walking distance of many hotels, motels, B&B’s and other accommodation facilities, and numerous restaurants and retail shops.

• Beaches.  The City of Cape May has two miles of pristine white sandy beaches.  Beaches are guarded by lifeguards from Memorial Day weekend through the second weekend In September each year.

• Architecture.  There are over 600 Victorian Era structures within the City of Cape May, and remain in continuous operation as private homes, Bed & Breakfasts, Inns, shops, and other related uses.  Trolley and walking tours are available through The Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts and Humanities, and horse drawn carriage tours are available through The Cape May Carriage Company.
• Washington Street Mall.  This three block pedestrian Mall is comprised of over ninety privately owned boutique shops with one-of-a-kind merchandise and restaurants with an assortment of cuisines and seating that includes outdoor patios and indoor fine dining.  
• Cultural Events.   A year-round schedule of theatrical plays is offered by Cape May’s two equity theatre companies, The Cape May Stage and East Lynne Theater Company.  The new Convention Hall offers a variety of instrumental and choral concerts.
• Environmental.  The City of Cape May is located on a peninsula and is part of the second largest migratory avian fly-way in the world.  With the Atlantic Ocean and the Cape May Harbor there are unique opportunities for fishing, and wetlands exploration.
