SPY BOY PRODUCTIONS PRESENTS CITY OF CAPE MAY 2023 SUMMER CONCERT SERIES

From the soft harmonies of The Letterman and The Association to the Ultimate Rock Concert of The Hit Men, the Cape May Concert Series offers a summer filled with timeless hits and legendary performers. All shows will be held at Cape May Convention Hall, 714 Beach Avenue in Cape May, New Jersey at 8 pm.

 

“We’re excited to bring another exciting summer concert lineup to our beautiful Convention Hall,” said Zachary Mullock, Mayor of the City of Cape May. “Whether they are staying with us for a week, joining us for the weekend, or traveling here specifically for a concert, audience members are sure to appreciate these top-notch performances.”

On Sunday, July 9, The Lettermen kick off the concert series. Known for soft, romantic hits such as “The Way You Look Tonight,” “When I Fall in Love,” and “Hurt So Bad,” The Lettermen have recorded over 75 albums, earning eleven gold records and five Grammy nominations. 

On Sunday, July 16, The Association bring their intricate harmonies to the stage. The band that made history by opening the Monterey Pop Music Festival, The Association recorded well-known hits such as “Cherish,” “Windy,” “Never My Love,” and “Along Comes Mary.” The group has earned seven Grammy nominations, six gold records, three platinum records, and a Golden Globe nomination. 

 

On Sunday, July 23, Jay and the Americans will show Cape May music lovers exactly why they were inducted into the Vocal Hall of Fame. Between 1962 and 1971, the group scored twelve Top Ten hits with songs such as “Come A Little Bit Closer,” “Cara Mia,” and “She Cried.”

 

On Sunday, July 30, Herman’s Hermits starring Peter Noone bring the sounds of the British Invasion to Cape May. Known for such hits as “Mrs. Brown, You’ve Got a Lovely Daughter, “I’m Henry VIII, I Am,” and “I’m Into Something Good,” Noone and Herman’s Hermits have sold more than 52 million recordings, earning 14 gold singles and 7 gold albums.

 

On Sunday, August 6, The Drifters return to Cape May Convention Hall. Known for hits such as “Under the Boardwalk,” “Up on the Roof,” and “There Goes My Baby,” The Drifters were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame alongside The Beatles, Bob Dylan, and The Beach Boys.

 

On Sunday, August 13, The Hit Men: The Ultimate Rock Concert will bring a multi-media entertainment experience to music fans. Renowned musicians who have toured with artists such as Journey, Foreigner, Wings, the Alan Parsons Project, and Billy Joel, this supergroup performs classic hits and shares fascinating stories about touring and recording with rock royalty.   

 

Tickets for all shows are $50 plus tax. Online orders are also subject to a service fee. Tickets can be purchased in person at Cape May Convention Hall, 714 Beach Avenue or online at CapeMayCity.com. Tickets are non-refundable.
