ADA Compliant Beach Mats

The City of Cape May has implemented ADA Compliant Beach Mats within the 2024 season. The Beach Mats start at the East end of the Promenade at Madison Avenue and continue parallel to the ocean ending at the Cove (Third Ave). 
The Beach Mats are approximately two (2) miles long and have platforms that extend out toward the water. 

ADA Compliant Beach Wheelchairs

The City of Cape May has added twelve (12) new Beach Wheelchairs for accommodation along the beachfront. Beach Wheelchairs are available 10:00AM - 4:30PM and MUST be returned at 4:30PM. 
Special arrangements can be made by calling the Cape May Beach Patrol HQ at 609-884-9520.
