BICYCLISTS: Be alert to Cars and Pedestrians.

Subject to same laws as a NJ motor vehicle driver.

• OBEY all traffic signs and signals.
• ALWAYS ride in the same direction as traffic.
• No cell phone usage.
• At night, use front and rear lights.
• BIKE single file in traffic.
• Use HAND SIGNALS when turning or stopping.
• WEAR a HELMET, it might save your life. Under 17: NJ Law. • While riding, keep 3+ feet distance from parked cars.
• WEAR bright, visible and reflective clothing.
• Use your bell or horn to announce your presence.
• No drinking and riding.

• Bicycles should not ride on sidewalks except for safety - yield to pedestrians.
